What is a VBAC? A VBAC is when a woman gives birth through the vagina after having had a cesarean delivery in a prior pregnancy. When a woman is attempting to have a VBAC it is often referred to as trial of labor after cesarean (TOLAC). At Boca Midwifery, we believe that women should be given the opportunity to attempt to deliver vaginally after having a previous cesarean section. However, this might not be appropriate in certain circumstances. Our goal is to review and monitor each patient individually. To take the time to accurately assess and give them the best environment and support team.
