David Lubetkin, MD, FACOG

Dr. David Lubetkin has been caring for women and families in Boca Raton for three decades. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at North Shore University Hospital/Cornell University Medical Center in Manhasset, New York. Since establishing his private practice in Boca Raton in 1996, Dr. Lubetkin has earned a reputation for providing exceptional, compassionate care while serving as a respected leader within the medical community.

Throughout his career, Dr. Lubetkin has held numerous leadership positions, including Chief of Staff at West Boca Medical Center, President of the Palm Beach County OB/GYN Society, and Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He also serves as an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Clinical Biomedical Science at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University, where he is passionate about mentoring and educating the next generation of physicians.

Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), Dr. Lubetkin is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care while fostering a collaborative approach to women's healthcare. As the Supervising Physician at Boca Midwifery, he works closely with the midwifery team to ensure patients receive safe, comprehensive, and individualized care throughout every stage of life.

His dedication to medical education has been recognized by both students and faculty at Florida Atlantic University, where he was honored as the Obstetrics and Gynecology Preceptor of the Year at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Lubetkin is deeply committed to serving the South Florida community. He has served as President of the Greater Palm Beach County chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and currently serves on the Board of the Eda and Cliff Viner Community Scholarship Foundation, which provides college scholarships to deserving Florida students. In recognition of his dedication to community service, he was named one of Boca Raton's "Men with Caring Hearts" in 2019 and has also been honored by the Boca Raton Rotary Club through its Honor Your Doctor program.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Lubetkin enjoys staying active and has completed numerous 100-mile cycling events to raise funds for diabetes research. He is an enthusiastic University of Georgia Bulldogs fan and a devoted pet lover. He shares his home with his wife and their four-legged family members—Caymus, their beloved Shih Tzu, and their two English Bulldogs, Chubb and Champ—who keep life fun and full of personality. A proud Boca Raton resident, Dr. Lubetkin is also the parent to three who were all born and raised in the community he has proudly served throughout his career.
